☆Welcome to my blog!☆

Here will be some polished pixel art game assets, silly descriptions and serious gun models.

A Shot Shooters II - Different Shades of Bang Bang Boogie

Holdout Pistol Six-Shooter

Real images vs rendered sprites

A request idea: Give old Mosin-Nagant rifle to bandits and a 'new' remastered model of WW2 Mauser to humanists -> The best bolt-action rifle back in the future!

Mutant Commune - Work Eat Sleep Repeat

Mutant fetish continues...

  1. Half-Uber
  2. Lamia
  3. Brute

Handgunz!!1 + Blade Additionz!!1 + Rifle Opticz!!1 = ?!!1

Ol' Revolver / Rusty Niner / Machete / Bayoneted Rifle

These are my first weapon modding experiments. I was supposed to just quick draw one realistic Glock pistol, but then ended up modifying and remodelling a bunch of original sprites. Oh well.

Hunting Rifle / Scoped Rifle / Sniper Rifle

I'm not yet completely sure whether these kind of designs fit into Xpiratez/Xcom style or not, but I think I'll keep them coming at least for my personal use, because... um, maybe that's how I like to roll. 😜🎨

Smoother Smoothie - The Plot Thickens

Less or more sneaky; comes now in flip-flops

Once again it was fun to modify original artwork. Nothing extra special, although something alright. I think she is an interesting character...

...for a traitor!

Base Stuff - Living on the Wasteland

XPiratez feels so fine Yarr, no need for improved gfx, Capn'! πŸ˜Ž that I've been playfully pondered creating concepts to an enormous feature addition: WASTELAND STRONGHOLDS, because it would be fun to own small pirate forts for a start, maybe just to see them being annihilated by some nasty creatures.

Same feature could enable an option to take control of some special mission areas afterwards and have their establishments as researchable booty or to manufacture stuff or train hands or whatever. Or maybe I should just make a comic out of this.

Vaults and tunnels would still be the best for the underground pirates' main campaign, besides being the mod's core idea, they are hard to spot and actual shelters. When playing on higher difficulties, it would be impossible to protect any noteworthy fort without smart power strategies and pricey hi-tech defence systems. However, some systems should always be simpler and more economically wise to be ground-based.

Doge Style - An Attack Dog Is the Best Defence

Bite
Removes the repetitive in the inventory screen, but also the dog's original head from the battlescape GUI. Yep, this one is a Choice, because you can’t have everything everywhere all at once.

Bark
Minor edits in details + added a comic kind of effect. Woof, woof; ruff, ruff; arf, arf; bow wow; yap, yap; yip, yip!

Gloomy Scenes - Blast from the Present

Been flexing exercises with the battlescape palette and ended up editing game's vanilla URBAN tilesets somewhat darker, polished and more detailed. While at it, I also adjusted dem grittiness levels. Finally called it a mod at shop stuff, so those pieces were still left untouched.

There was/is one tile, it looks like an industrial-sized microwave oven, which I would edit for my personal use to be a washing machine, so merry inhabitants over there could wash their six pixel underwear. Biggest of small modifications anyhow'sly happened to that same FRUNITURE [sic] terrain, but it seems that old LOFTs can handle the minor changes in size, keeping then these PCKs good pals with original MCDs.

What in the World - Too Clean for Chaos

Lately I've been thinking about terrains, because it'd be cool to replace some of the polished ones with so-called rough XPZ ...
